KI Industries (“KI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit kiindustries.com (the “Site”) or interact with us online. Additionally, we may collect information through phone calls, trade shows, in-person events, mailings, or other offline interactions that we may later enter into our CRM records.
1) Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
A. Information you provide to us
- Contact information (name, company, job title, email, phone number, mailing address)
- Inquiry details (messages, RFQ details, part/application information, project requirements)
- Employment/ applicant information
- Marketing preferences (newsletter opt-ins, event registrations)
- Any other information you choose to submit through forms or email
B. Information collected automatically
When you use the Site, we may automatically collect:
- Device and browser information (IP address, device type, operating system, browser type)
- Usage data (pages viewed, links clicked, time spent, referring/exit pages)
- Approximate location (derived from IP address)
- Cookies and similar technologies data (see Section 6)
C. Information from third parties
We may receive information from:
- Service providers (analytics, form tools, CRM/marketing platforms)
- Advertising/marketing partners (if enabled)
- Public sources (e.g., company websites, professional directories) in a B2B context
2) How We Use Information
We use information to as reasonably necessary and proportionate the following stated purposes:
- Respond to inquiries, RFQs, and customer requests
- Provide and improve the Site and our services
- Communicate about capabilities, products, events, and company updates
- Account/ relationship management, including to maintain our CRM and business contact records and manage sales leads
- Internal operations, including quality assurance, troubleshooting and audit logs
- Perform analytics and measure Site performance
- Detect, prevent, and protect against security incidents, fraud, or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
3) How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information:
- To service providers that help operate our Site and business (hosting, analytics, CRM, email, marketing, security)
- To professional advisors (legal, accounting, insurers) as needed
- For legal and compliance reasons (to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights/safety)
- In a business transaction (merger, acquisition, sale of assets), where information may transfer as part of the transaction
We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense.
If we engage in advertising that may be considered “sharing” under certain state privacy laws (e.g., cross-context behavioral advertising), see Section 8.
4) Data Retention
We retain information as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining business records, resolving disputes, and complying with legal obligations.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6) Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies, pixels, and similar tools to:
- Enable core Site functionality

- Understand Site traffic and usage
- Support marketing/advertising (if enabled)
You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some Site features may not function properly.
IP-derived locations are approximate and are used for analytics, security or reginal content.
7) Your Choices
Marketing communications: You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the “unsubscribe” link in our emails or contacting us at the email below.
Do Not Track: The Site may not respond to “Do Not Track” signals due to lack of an industry standard.
8) U.S. State Privacy Rights (as applicable)
Depending on your state of residence (e.g., California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, and other states with privacy laws), you may have rights to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request deletion of certain personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of certain processing, including targeted advertising (where applicable)
- Obtain a copy of your information in a portable format
To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
California Notice (if applicable):
This Section applies solely to individuals who are California residents (“California Consumers”) and describes rights available under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA/ CPRA”), with respect to Personal Information that KI collects about California Consumers through the Site and related online interactions described in this Privacy Policy. For purposes of this Section, “Personal Information” has the meaning set forth in the CCPA/CPRA and generally includes information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular California Consumer or household.
A. Your California Privacy Rights
Subject to verification of your identity and applicable legal exceptions, you may exercise the following rights:
- Right to Know / Access. You may request that KI disclose to you the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information KI has collected about you, the categories of sources from which the Personal Information is collected, the business or commercial purposes for collecting, selling, or sharing Personal Information, and the categories of third parties to whom KI discloses Personal Information.
- Right to Delete. You may request that KI delete Personal Information KI collected from you, subject to the exceptions described in below (e. g. where retention is necessary to complete a transaction you requested, provide a service you requested, detect security incidents, comply with law, or for other permitted purposes).
- Right to Correct. You may request that KI correct inaccurate Personal Information that KI maintains about you, taking into account the nature of the Personal Information and the purposes of the processing.
- Right to Data Portability. You may request a copy of certain Personal Information in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format that allows you to transmit the information to another entity without hindrance.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale and/or Sharing. You may direct KI to not sell and/or not share your Personal Information. For clarity, KI does not sell Personal Information in the traditional sense; however, if KI engages in advertising or cookie-based activities that may be considered sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, you may opt out as described below.
- Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information. To the extent KI collects “Sensitive Personal Information” (as defined by the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to direct KI to limit its use and disclosure to those uses necessary to provide requested goods or services, to ensure security and integrity, and for other purposes permitted by the CCPA/CPRA. You may submit a request as described below.
B. How to Submit a Request. You may submit a request to exercise the rights in Section A by sending your request to info@kiindustries.com with the subject line California Privacy Request. In your request, please specify which right(s) you seek to exercise (e. g. access/know, deletion, correction, portability, opt out of sale/sharing, or limit use of sensitive personal information) and provide sufficient detail to allow KI to understand, evaluate, and respond to your request.
C. Identity Verification; Authorized Agents
- Verification Standard. KI will verify your identity (or the identity and authority of your authorized agent) before responding to certain requests, as required or permitted by the CCPA/CPRA, to protect your Personal Information. KI will use Personal Information provided in the request and/or already maintained by KI to verify identity and will use verification information solely for verification purposes.
- Information We May Request to Verify Identity. Depending on the nature of the request and the sensitivity of the information involved, KI may request one or more of the following: your full name, company name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and details regarding your interaction with KI (e. g. inquiry/RFQ details) sufficient for KI to reasonably verify you. If KI cannot verify your identity with the foregoing, KI may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify your identity consistent with the CCPA/CPRA.
- Authorized Agents. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. KI will require proof that the agent is authorized to act for you, which may include (a) a written authorization signed by you identifying the agent, and/or (b) verification of the agent’s identity, and KI may also require you to verify your own identity directly with KI. If KI cannot verify the requestor’s identity or authority, KI may deny the request.
D. Timing of Responses; Limits; Legal Exceptions; Inability to Fulfill
- Response Timing. KI will confirm receipt of your request and respond within the time periods required by the CCPA/CPRA. Where KI reasonably requires additional time to respond, KI may extend the response period as permitted by law and will inform you of the extension and the reason for it.
- Requests We Cannot Fulfill. KI may deny a request, in whole or in part, if (a) KI cannot verify your identity (or the identity/authority of your authorized agent), (b) the requested information is subject to an applicable exemption, or (c) a legal exception applies. If KI denies your request, KI will explain the basis for the denial to the extent required by law.
- Deletion Exceptions. Without limiting KI’s rights or obligations under applicable law, KI may retain Personal Information notwithstanding a deletion request to the extent permitted by the CCPA/CPRA, including where retention is reasonably necessary to: complete a transaction or provide a service you requested; perform a contract with you; detect security incidents and protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity; debug and repair errors; exercise or defend legal claims; comply with a legal obligation; or enable solely internal uses reasonably aligned with your expectations based on your relationship with KI.
- Frequency Limits. KI may limit the number of certain requests as permitted by the CCPA/CPRA (for example, certain access/know requests may be limited within a 12-month period), and KI will apply any such limits in a non-discriminatory manner.
E. Non-Discrimination. KI will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including by denying goods or services, charging different prices or rates, or providing a different level or quality of goods or services, except as permitted by law.
9) Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10) Third-Party Links and Embedded Content. We are not responsible, and disclaim any liability, for third-party privacy practices when you leave our site or interact with embedded tools.
11) International Visitors
If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
